Hey, I was just looking for a certain type of fic. AU, preferably complete - multi-chaptered or oneshot, it doesn't matter. I kind of want them to be light and a little happier - no high school fics though, please. I'm just on a Sasuke/Sakura roll right now.

I went to this kids store today call Little Brown Bear Children's Clothing. I've wanted to go inside since I was a little girl because the store windows always looked cute but no one ever brought me.
Oh my gosh! It was awesome! They had wooden toys, Sarah's Silks, organic cotton clothes, but also designer baby clothes and just all sorts of cool stuff! They had a bunch of cloth diapering stuff mostly Bummis and Kushies and I saw a basket full of Bum Genius Pocket diapers. I'm actually thinking of picking up a few of the Kushies diapers some time. They were really soft. The only size they had though was 22-30lbs and Lilia wouldn't fit in that yet they looked huge compared to her. (She's only about 19lbs)
I ended up getting her this pair of sunglasses. Which were incidentally cheaper there than on the website. I'll take a picture of her wearing them later, she really liked them and would smile really big when you put them on her.
And I got her this wooden teether thing I can't find it on the website but it's like this one only the middle piece is a bear.
In retrospect I wish I'd known about that sort of stuff a while ago because I would have bought her mostly natural/ wooden toys. I like them much better. They feel more alive. It's hard to explain exactly. It's not just that they're natural and eco friendly, but also just they have a good vibe/aura if a toy can have aura?
I should order her something like this from their website because she really love that kind of stuff when we're at the doctors office, or the store we were at today had a big display one
Oh also! There was this really realistic looking baby doll that was part of a display showing a baby carrier. Lilia kept bringing toys to it and dropping them on it like she was trying to share with it. Then she'd grunt and try to takl to it. Then I said something like "Aww she really likes it, I should get her something like that." She turned to me and started nodding her head over and over again like she was saying "Yes please get it." XD It was so cute.
There was also this lady that had two little girls with her, one was an infant younger than Lilia that she was carrying around that kept crying. Lilia kept following the mom around whenever the baby would cry and try to look at it, it was like she was worried/concerned about the baby. Anyone that says that human beings are innately selfish creatures are wrong. You can see that clearly children are naturally very empathetic to others. Then the other little girl was about three, she kept talking to me about Snow White and how good the movie was and that I should buy it for my daughter because she's like it too. She was sitting next to a basket of stuffed animals and Lilia kept grabbing them and throwing them at her and grunting. It looked sort of aggressive, but she was actually trying to share. She wanted the little girl to play with them. When she drops a toy on you she wants to see you play with it.
Incidentally, I got less than two hours sleep last night. I went to bed around three thirty... Lilia woke up at a quarter to five and believe it or not didn't go back to sleep until 1:30 in the afternoon. She did lay next to me and nurse for two or three hours until about nine she never fell asleep though. She kept switching boobs. Because she was being calm though I was able to sort of doze of now and then while she was nursing. She might have too but she never actually fell asleep that I saw. I just took a two hour nap and I feel better, she's still sleeping. It's amazing
Steve's at an appointment at the college right now with a counselor. When he gets back we'll probably go see Harry Potter tonight. It's too late to make the last matinee at 3:45 so we'll have to pay like $9. Ugh.
